Delhi Capitals Off to a Flying Start, Score 51/1 in Powerplay Against CSK

In a blazing start to their innings, Delhi Capitals (DC) have posted 51 runs for the loss of one wicket at the end of the powerplay against Chennai Super Kings (CSK). Opting to bat first after winning the toss, DC’s aggressive approach was led by a dominant display from Abishek Porel, who smashed 32 off just 18 balls, including four boundaries and a six. He was well-supported by KL Rahul, who added 19 runs off 13 deliveries.

Despite losing Jake Fraser-McGurk for a duck, DC maintained a strong run rate of 8.50. The partnership between Porel and Rahul has already added 51 runs in just 31 balls. Among CSK’s bowlers, Khaleel Ahmed (1/16 in 3 overs) was the most successful, while M Choudhary conceded 27 runs in his 2 overs.
