Granules India Acquires 100% Shareholding in Senn Chemicals AG

Granules India has acquired a 100% shareholding in Senn Chemicals AG, a Swiss-based Contract Development and Manufacturing Organisation (CDMO) focused on peptides, for Rs 192.5 crore (CHF 20 million). This strategic acquisition represents Granules' foray into the high-growth peptide therapeutics market and CDMO business. The acquisition brings expertise in peptide synthesis and aligns with Granules' vision to expand into next-generation therapeutics, particularly in the anti-diabetic and anti-obesity markets. The transaction is expected to be completed in the first half of 2025, positioning Granules as a key player in peptide-based solutions globally.
