HELP Society has successfully concluded Trivia Fest 2026 (Fourth Edition) at Haflong, Dima Hasao, turning the three day youth festival into one of the district’s biggest celebrations of sports, culture, learning and community action. Powered by Binbag and co powered by Eyewear Gallery, the fest brought together students, youth groups, artists, organisations and local residents from across Dima Hasao and neighbouring regions. The finale on Day 3 stitched together traditional performances, awards, social impact stalls and the launch of HELP Society’s annual magazine into a coherent narrative of aspiration and local pride.
From Motul Ride To Districtwide Youth Fest
• Trivia Fest 2026 officially opened with the Motul Ride for Road Safety Awareness, which doubled as the inaugural programme of the festival. The ride promoted road safety, responsible driving and environmental consciousness among young riders and the wider community. Day 1 then moved into inter school sports competitions at NL Daulagupu Sports Complex, with students from multiple schools competing in various events and displaying teamwork, discipline and strong competitive spirit across the day. Day 2 shifted the focus to inter school literary competitions at Vivekananda Vidyalaya High School, where debates, literary activities and creative contests highlighted the fest’s emphasis on education, creativity, leadership and youth empowerment.
Culture, Awards And Vision On Day 3
• The grand finale on Day 3 transformed the venue into a vibrant cultural stage showcasing the rich diversity of Dima Hasao. Audiences watched traditional performances representing Dimasa, Zeme, Kuki, Hrangkhol, Bengali and Gorkha communities, alongside a Taekwondo display by the Dima Hasao Taekwondo Association and sets by musical artists. The closing ceremony featured prize distribution for sports and literary winners and the prestigious Trivia Excellence Awards, recognising standout achievers and contributors. Special Trivia Tributes honoured sponsors, media partners and content creators who helped power the festival.
Launch Of Vision’34 And Community Stalls
• A major emotional highlight of the final day was the official launch of Vision’34 Second Edition, HELP Society’s annual magazine that chronicles its yearly journey through reports, activities and community impact. Page 18 was dedicated as a heartfelt tribute to iconic Assamese singer Zubeen Garg, whose birthday falls on the 18th, underscoring the magazine’s cultural connect. Day 3 also featured engagement stalls from partners: Eyewear Gallery ran a computerised eye check up camp, while Binbag Recycles conducted an e waste awareness and collection drive that became one of the key crowd pullers. The e waste stall encouraged young visitors to embrace responsible disposal and recycling as part of a greener future.
Gratitude, Scale And What Comes Next
• In their closing message, HELP Society thanked sponsors, partners, schools, participants, artists, media houses, volunteers and well wishers for making Trivia Fest 2026 a success. Special acknowledgements went to inaugural partner Motul India, powered by sponsor Binbag Recycles, co powered by Eyewear Gallery, radio partner Radio Gupshup 94.3 FM, media partners WowNews24x7 and BarakEdge, and local media outlets of Dima Hasao.
