Indian Defence Ministry Declares 2025 as 'Year of Reforms' with Focus on Technology

The Indian Ministry of Defence (MoD) has designated 2025 as the 'Year of Reforms,' aiming to enhance the nation's defence capabilities through technological advancements and streamlined procurement processes. A key initiative is the comprehensive revamp of the Defence Acquisition Procedure (DAP) 2020 to better align with service requirements, facilitating more efficient and transparent acquisitions. 

Additionally, the MoD plans to establish Integrated Theatre Commands to promote jointness among the armed forces, ensuring a more coordinated and effective defence strategy.
