JSW Energy’s resolution plan for Raigarh Champa Rail Infrastructure approved by creditors

On November 19, 2025, JSW Energy announced that its resolution plan for RCRIPL was cleared by the Committee of Creditors, with a Letter of Intent issued by the Resolution Professional. RCRIPL provides critical rail infrastructure for coal transportation to KSK Mahanadi Power Company Ltd (KMPCL), an 1,800 MW thermal power plant already acquired by JSW Energy earlier this year. The acquisition aligns with JSW’s strategy of integrating logistics with power generation, ensuring reliable coal supply for current and upcoming capacity.
