Magellan Aerospace and Aequs Collaborate to Enhance India's Aerospace Industry

Magellan Aerospace Corporation and Aequs Private Limited have entered into a Memorandum of Understanding to explore the feasibility of setting up a 50/50 equity-based aerospace sand casting business in Karnataka, India. The intended venture will cater to the increasing requirement of sand castings in the aerospace sector supporting commercial and defense industries. This partnership leverages the companies' 15-year successful tie-up, and their joint venture Aerospace Processing India. The new plant, under development in Belagavi Aerospace Cluster, will take advantage of Magellan's sand casting technology expertise and the vertically integrated production capabilities of Aequs. This project sits well with the fast-growing Indian aviation market as well as with government-driven growth of the aerospace industry.
