Himachal apple season has started on a strong note with the early varieties of Spur, Tydeman, and Red Gold fetching good prices in wholesale markets. With over 10 lakh boxes sold up to July 18, farmers and traders are celebrating a good beginning to the crop.

Farmers are receiving Rs 2,000 to Rs 5,000 per 20-kg box, based on quality and maturity
