BookMyShow Foundation Launches ‘BookAChange’ to Empower Marginalized Talent

BookMyShow Foundation has launched BookAChange, a groundbreaking initiative designed to make music and performing arts accessible to underprivileged communities. Building on its 2014 program, BookASmile, this new initiative provides 500 music scholarships, specialized training in rap and DJing for students in Dharavi, and mobile recording studios in Delhi. Additional programs include Hindustani classical music training for schoolchildren in Mumbai and therapeutic music sessions for senior citizens.  Farzana Cama Balpande, Head of BookAChange, highlighted the initiative's goal of promoting inclusion, resilience, and creativity through the arts. This program aims to inspire the next generation of leaders in the industry.
