On the momentous occasion of Chhattisgarh’s 25th foundation day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited Nava Raipur (Atal Nagar) to participate in grand statehood celebrations and unveil transformative projects valued at Rs 14,260 crore. Development Milestones: PM Modi inaugurated and laid foundation stones for a range of projects covering critical sectors such as road infrastructure, healthcare, energy, and industry. Notable initiatives include the four-lane Greenfield highway from Pathalgaon-Kunkuri to the Jharkhand border and a natural gas pipeline connecting 11 districts to the national grid.
Healthcare Expansion: Five new government medical colleges across various districts were inaugurated, enhancing healthcare accessibility. The state now boasts 14 medical colleges and an AIIMS, reflecting its health infrastructure growth.
Rural Welfare: The PM addressed the Griha Pravesh ceremony for 3.51 lakh newly completed houses under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Gramin) and released Rs 1,200 crore installments for 3 lakh beneficiaries, ensuring dignified rural housing.
