Delhi's New Government Hits the Ground Running with Ambitious Plans

Delhi's new BJP government, headed by Chief Minister Rekha Gupta, has made no delay in solving some of the major issues of the city. Gupta and ministers were barely out of office on inauguration day before unveiling a large-scale summer agenda with water and air quality augmentations as central aims. All administrations have given directions for rigorous examinations of mohalla clinics operations, and repaired pothole-filled roads remain top priority with them. Their ministers have reportedly gone around cities monitoring ongoing project developments, setting forth their guarantee to deliver visual change within the 100 days of their current mandate. The government has also promised people that popular programs such as free bus travel for women will go on. With ambitious infrastructure development and healthcare overhaul plans, Delhi's new government is eager to prove its worth in addressing chronic urban issues.
