Andrey Slepnev, Minister in charge of Trade at the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC), emphasized the need for intensified joint efforts with businesses in international markets due to rising competition. Speaking ahead of the 3rd Eurasia International Exhibition in Tehran, Slepnev highlighted the importance of strengthening economic ties between the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU), Shanghai Cooperation Organization, BRICS, and Gulf States. The exhibition, scheduled for February 21-24, 2025, aims to promote cooperation in key sectors such as energy, agriculture, and technology. This call for collaboration comes as the EAEU continues to expand its global partnerships, including recent negotiations with the UAE for an economic partnership agreement.
