The 2025 Indian Film Festival of Los Angeles (IFFLA) announced its winners on May 11, recognizing outstanding South Asian and diaspora storytelling. Aranya Sahay's Humans in the Loop won the Grand Jury Award for Best Feature, praised for its innovative storytelling and social significance. For short films, Snigdha Kapoor's Holy Curse won the highest prize, recognized for its compelling story and craftsmanship.
IFFLA 2025, held between May 6-10 in Los Angeles, showcased an offbeat roster of features, documentaries, and short films celebrating the diversity of Indian culture and issues of the times. The festival featured galas, panel sessions, and industry events making space for co-operation between South Asian filmmakers and the Hollywood industry.
