The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has placed Kerala and coastal Karnataka under a red alert, forecasting extremely heavy rainfall through July 25. The warning comes amid intensifying monsoon activity driven by multiple weather systems, with Delhi-NCR also expected to receive intermittent showers over the next few days.
