India and the European Union will be having the tenth round of free trade agreement negotiations between March 10 and 14 in Brussels. The negotiations seek to conclude a mutually advantageous agreement by the end of 2025, amid escalating global trade tensions. Tariff cuts on automobiles and farm products, and environmental regulations such as the Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism are some of the major issues. Both nations are determined to increase market access and eliminate trade barriers to increase bilateral trade, which was over $190 billion in FY 2024.
