Union Minister for Commerce and Industry Piyush Goyal has reiterated the government's focus on building a conducive investment climate in India. Addressing the Pune International Business Summit 2025, Goyal stressed the creation of 20 industrial smart cities under the National Industrial Corridor Development Programme to create a world-class industrial ecosystem for foreign investors. He also stressed investing ₹11.21 lakh crore in the Union Budget 2025-26 in infrastructure with a focus on sustainable and resilient development. Goyal stressed continued cooperation and innovation to make India's infrastructure inclusive of its economic growth.
