JioStar's Big Shake-Up: Workforce Revamp Post Star-Viacom18 Merger

JioStar, the merged company of Star India and Viacom18, is in the process of major workforce restructuring. The company will be laying off 500 to 1,100 employees because of duplicate roles. The step is being taken to maximize resources and increase efficiency in the new media giant. Severance packages of up to 15 months of salary will be given to affected employees. JioStar is also helping affected staff transition to new roles within the Reliance group.
