Farhan Akhtar's war drama '120 Bahadur', honoring 120 soldiers of Charlie Company in the 1962 Battle of Rezang La, is now tax-free in Rajasthan after Delhi. Farhan thanked CM Bhajanlal Sharma for the gesture saluting Major Shaitan Singh Bhati (PVC) and the heroes' sacrifice.
Rajasthan has joined Delhi in declaring Farhan Akhtar-starrer '120 Bahadur' tax-free, amplifying its reach to honor Indian soldiers' valor. Released November 21, the film depicts Charlie Company, 13 Kumaon Regiment's epic stand against overwhelming Chinese forces at Rezang La during the 1962 Sino-Indian War. Led by Major Shaitan Singh Bhati (PVC), all 120 fought to the last man in sub-zero conditions.
Delhi CM Rekha Gupta first announced tax exemption from November 28, praising the film's tribute to their "extraordinary courage." Rajasthan CM Bhajanlal Sharma followed suit, waiving entertainment tax to boost accessibility and box office amid steady collections (Rs 1cr on Day 6).
Farhan expressed profound gratitude on X: "We express our sincere gratitude to the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Rajasthan, @BhajanlalBjp ji, for this gesture that honours Major Shaitan Singh Bhati (PVC) and the extraordinary courage of every soldier of Charlie Company."
