Superstar Salman Khan will begin filming his much-awaited war drama, Battle of Galwan, with the cameras rolling in August 2025. The action movie will be filmed at the iconic Mehboob Studio in Mumbai before the shoot moves to the hill terrain of Ladakh for adrenaline-fueled action sequences.

Grand Launch in August: Shooting for the first week of August commences at Mehboob Studio, Mumbai, with a very carefully designed set that aims to recreate the raw ferocity of the 2020 Galwan Valley conflict.
 
Ladakh Action Extravaganza: After the 10–12 day Mumbai schedule is completed, the film will move to Ladakh for spine-tingling battle sequences. Take a deep breath for gritty, night-fighting and water action at 15,000 feet above sea level.
 
Salman's Prep Mode: Salman has been working relentlessly on physical and combat training since May to play Colonel Bikumalla Santosh Babu—a true blue hero who led Indian troops during the fiery 2020 standoff. The role is being touted as one of the physically demanding performances of his life.
