The Indian Government has formally launched the application portal for PM YASASVI Scholarship 2025 for OBC, EWS, EBC, DNT, and nomadic student groups. The central programme, run by the Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment, offers massive financial relief to students seeking education in Classes 9 and 11, encouraging higher education in high-performance schools in India.

Key Features:

Application Window: Open now, application closing date 31st August 2025.

Who may Apply:

OBC, EBC, EWS, DNT, and nomadic tribe candidates
Attending Class 9 or 11 in a school recognized by the government
Family income per year less than ₹2.5 lakh
Not taking any other scholarship

Scholarship Value:

₹75,000 per year for Class 9 students
₹1,25,000 per year for Class 11 students
Pays school, hostel, and fees charges

Selection Process:

No entry test is required; only merit, i.e., marks obtained in past final exams, is the selection criterion.

Visit scholarships.gov.in or yet.nta.ac.in
Click on "New Registration" and enter the details required
Scan and upload Aadhaar, income certificate, caste certificate, mark sheets, and bank details
Review the application and submit
