NTPC Green Energy Starts Commercial Operations at Shajapur Solar Project

NTPC Green Energy Ltd has made it known that its unit, NTPC Renewable Energy Ltd, has started commercial operation of the first phase of 55 MW of its 105 MW Shajapur solar project in Madhya Pradesh. The move is part of NTPC's larger endeavor to increase its renewable energy business. The project was allotted to NTPC Renewable Energy Ltd at competitive tariffs through an auction by Rewa Ultra Mega Solar Ltd. With this addition, the NTPC group's total installed and commercial capacity now stands at 76,530.68 MW.
