Quick Response Averts Disaster: Fire at Indian Oil Terminal in Jharkhand Contained

On Tuesday, a fire broke out near the parking area of the Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) terminal in Jasidih, Deoghar, Jharkhand. The incident occurred in the late afternoon. The flames, initially fueled by a bushfire in nearby Badladih village, were promptly controlled by firefighters and IOC's emergency response team. Swift action ensured no damage to the main terminal or petroleum stocks. Authorities evacuated around 2,000 residents from nearby villages and relocated trains from Jasidih station as a precautionary measure. No casualties or significant property damage were reported.
