The Chief Minister reiterated that the security and well-being of all residents are the government's priority. He instructed all district magistrates, sub-divisional magistrates, and tehsildars to visit affected areas at once, carry out detailed surveys of the damage, and ensure relief reaches the affected without delay.

Major instructions are:

Immediate assessment and compensation to families who lost their members or livestock due to lightning, storms, or wall collapse.
Immediate medical care for the affected.
Rapid payment of compensation to farmers whose crops were damaged by more than 33%, with direct transfer of money into their accounts within 24 hours of the receipt of the survey report.
Extra care for the storage of wheat in a safe manner at procurement points as well as mandis to avoid further losses amid the ongoing government purchase operations.
Emergent drainage in waterlogged regions to ensure normalcy.

The relief department in the state has also issued warnings and asked people to go out only if required. The Chief Minister has notified officials that there would be no leniency against any negligence in relief and compensation procedures, and strict action will be initiated against those who are found wanting in their responsibilities.

Farmers in the affected regions have already started getting compensation, with district officials issuing cheques depending on the level of loss. The government is still committed to helping all those who have been affected by the recent spate of extreme weather conditions.
