RBI Tightens Screws At Long-Bond Auctions With Partial Allotments

In the 2076 bond sale, the RBI allotted only 27.44% on four bids, while in the 2040 bond auction, it allotted 30.05% on 28 bids. Alongside that, it sharply filtered overall demand, accepting only a portion of the rupee value bid in both papers.
