Sheetal Cool Fires Up New Amreli Plant As It Chases Wider Frozen Treat Reach

Sheetal Cool Products has kicked off operations at a new manufacturing facility in Amreli, Gujarat, deepening its roots in the city where the branded ice cream and foods company first began. The plant is aimed at expanding capacity for ice cream, frozen desserts and snacks ahead of the crucial summer and festive demand cycles. The move also strengthens the company’s “from Amreli to the world” narrative as it eyes wider domestic and export footprints.

Capacity Boost In Home Turf  

The new Amreli facility adds to Sheetal’s existing base in the GIDC industrial estate, where it already manufactures ice cream, frozen foods, milk products and snack items under the Sheetal Icecream and Sheetal Foods brands. By clustering capacity in and around its home district, the company can leverage an established cold-chain, local workforce and supplier ecosystem, while trimming logistics costs for core western markets such as Gujarat and neighbouring states. 

Growth Plans And Market Reach  

Sheetal Cool has been steadily scaling up its distribution network beyond Gujarat into Rajasthan, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh and other regions, while also beginning to ship products to markets like Dubai and Hong Kong. The additional plant capacity is expected to back new product launches and deeper penetration in tier 2 and tier 3 cities, where branded impulse and family ice cream packs are gaining share over unorganised players.
