Vignan University and Schneider Electric Forge Groundbreaking Partnership for Green Innovation

Vignan University, Vadlamudi, has signed a landmark Memorandum of Understanding with Schneider Electric India Pvt. Ltd. on February 13, 2025. This collaboration, under Schneider's 'Green Yodha' initiative, will establish a Centre of Excellence, Automation Centre, and Skill Development Centre at the university. The partnership aims to reduce emissions by 33-35% by 2030 compared to 2005 levels. Schneider Electric will offer specialized M.Tech, MBA (Research), and Ph.D. programs for its employees at Vignan. Students will benefit from internships, hands-on training, and exposure to cutting-edge technologies in sustainable energy, automation, IoT, and power management. This industry-academia integration promises to enhance career prospects and drive innovation in smart grid and energy management fields.
