Another stand-out feature of this project is the launch of a unique piece of equipment called the Poetry Camera. Created by inventors Kelin Carolyn Zhang and Ryan Mather, the Poetry Camera creates AI-generated poetry from images. The Poetry Camera has already caught people's eyes for its capability to turn commonplace images into pieces of poetry-provoking, technology-meets-art in the most unexpected of ways.

Aside from highlighting technological advancements, Poet Behind the Camera will honor pioneers such as Jun Fujita, a Japanese-American poet and photojournalist whose work combined melancholic verse with compelling imagery. The project will launch with an opening exhibition in New York City this June, followed by exhibitions in Paris, Tokyo, and Mumbai.
