Delhi recorded one of its hottest days of the season at around 43 degrees Celsius on Monday, with IMD issuing a heatwave alert for several north and central Indian states. The weather department has also indicated chances of rain and thunderstorms in select regions, offering partial relief from extreme temperatures.
