On-Field Time-Wasting Clampdown

One of the most visible changes is the introduction of time limits on restarts and substitutions. Medical treatment rules now require any player treated on the pitch to step off and remain out of play for at least one minute, unless the injury followed a foul that earned a yellow or red card.
