8 Years of Yogi: The Unstoppable Journey of Uttar Pradesh's Revival

With the Yogi Adityanath government crossing eight years of its rule in Uttar Pradesh, the state has undergone an astounding change in various sectors. Described as a BIMARU state in the past, UP is now the growth hub of India with drastic development seen in law and order, agriculture, and infrastructure. The state government asserts it has offered more than 8 lakh government vacancies and facilitated self-employment among 2 crore youth. Agricultural output has risen by 20%, and the unemployment rate has fallen from 19% to 3%. Megaprojects of urban development, such as metro connectivity in major cities and the development of expressways, have improved connectivity. The Chief Minister hailed the state's transformation from an identity crisis to a progress hub, crediting the achievement to 25 crore citizens' efforts and the double-engine government's policy.
