A Home Away From Home: Chhattisgarh Invests Rs 202 Crore in Working Women's Future

In a milestone step towards the empowerment of women, the Central Government has approved Rs 202 crore for constructing six working women's hostels in Chhattisgarh. The initiative, cleared under the Special Capital Assistance Scheme, will involve setting up three of these hostels in Raipur, two at Bilaspur, and one at Nava Raipur. These complexes shall offer secure and economical housing for more than 2,000 working women in urban areas and meet a core requirement there. Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman for this endeavour, which shares the vision of 'Viksit Bharat 2047'.
