Rajendra Kumar's Tenure:

Jubilee Kumar, another Bollywood legend, acquired the bungalow during the 1960s and named it "Dimple" after his daughter.
Though he started successful, Kumar experienced career reversal and financial setbacks, continuing the myth that the house was haunted.

Rajesh Khanna Period:

Khanna bought the bungalow around the early 1970s at a price of ₹3.5 lakhs and named it "Aashirwad."
Khanna had unprecedented success during his stay with 17 back-to-back solo hits, but his professional and personal life later encountered setbacks with the arrival of Amitabh Bachchan on the scene.

Legacy and Sale

Aashirwad continued to be Khanna's home until his death in 2012. His daughters, Twinkle and Rinke Khanna, disposed of the property to industrialist Shashi Kiran Shetty for ₹90 crore in 2014.
