AI’s Global Journey Holds Major Role For ‘Aspirational India’: PM Modi

At the India AI Impact Summit 2026, Prime Minister Narendra Modi underscored the transformative role of artificial intelligence in shaping India’s future. Addressing global leaders, policymakers, and industry executives, Modi described AI as a defining force for “Aspirational India,” capable of driving innovation, inclusion, and economic growth.  

He unveiled the MANAV Vision for AI, which stands for Moral and Ethical Systems, Accountable Governance, National Sovereignty, Accessible and Inclusive, and Valid and Legitimate frameworks. Modi stressed that AI must be democratized to serve as a tool for empowerment, particularly for the Global South, ensuring that technology benefits all sections of society.
