Bachchan's Homage to His Father: Ayodhya's New Memorial in the Making

Amitabh Bachchan has bought a 54,454-square-foot land in Ayodhya, near the Ram Mandir, some 10 kilometers away, by the Harivansh Rai Bachchan Memorial Trust. The property is rumored to be developed into a memorial dedicated to his father, the acclaimed poet Harivansh Rai Bachchan. This is a follow-up to yet another recent buy in Haveli Avadh for Rs 4.54 crore, which is reportedly for dwelling purposes. The trust was set up in 2013 to help charitable causes, a testament to Bachchan's respect for his father's legacy.
