This pavilion would serve as a collective showcase for products from India’s plantation boards—including spices, tea, coffee, rubber, and turmeric—under a unified national brand. The proposal aims to strengthen India’s presence in global markets and promote the country’s rich plantation heritage.

Goyal has urged incorporating the term ‘India’ prominently in the logos of Geographical Indication (GI) products to enhance brand recognition internationally.

Plantation boards are encouraged to collaborate with the India Brand Equity Foundation (IBEF) to promote the ‘Brand India’ message globally.

The welfare of plantation workers and growers is a key focus, with calls to strengthen existing social security and skill development programs in partnership with the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship.

The minister suggested establishing a common incubation center to support research, innovation, and startups in the plantation sector, similar to the Atal Innovation Mission.
