Breakthrough in Asset Tracking: Vizag Startup Revolutionizes Healthcare and Logistics

Wisenet-an innovative asset tracking system using Bluetooth Low Energy Technology successfully incubated at the NASSCOM Centre of Excellence Vizag -- successfully brought closure to the issue of expensive medical equipment going missing inside hospitals due to problems with GPS signals. The system has so far been instituted at SSKM Government Hospital in Kolkata, whereby 500 out of 8,000 instruments have been tagged. The same technology by Wisenet is applicable for tracking shipping company containers as well as managing a logistics fleet. It aims at a revenue of ₹1 crore in this year alone and proves how the Indian start-ups can actually tackle industrial issues.
