Kolkata and all West Bengal banks will be closed to commemorate the birthday of Nobel winner Rabindranath Tagore.

May 10 (Saturday): Second Saturday

All banks throughout India will be shut as per the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) requirement for the second Saturday of each month.

May 11 (Sunday): Regular Weekly Closure

All banks all over the country will be closed on their usual schedule.

May 12 (Monday): Buddha Purnima

Banks will be closed in a few states and cities like New Delhi, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, Bhopal, Nagpur, Raipur, Ranchi, Aizawl, Agartala, Belapur, Dehradun, Itanagar, Jammu, Kanpur, Shimla, and Srinagar on the occasion of Buddha Purnima.
