Cow Products Promotion by Haryana Government for Boosting Rural Economy

As part of an effort to increase cow protection and contribute to the rural economy, the Haryana government, under the leadership of Nayab Singh Saini, is now promoting innovative products derived from cow dung and urine. These efforts include the production of eco-friendly cow dung paint, soaps, and shampoos made from cow urine. Such products not only make effective use of bovine waste but also offer sustainable livelihood opportunities for rural communities. The number of registered cows in Haryana's gaushalas has increased substantially-from 1.74 lakh in 215 shelters in 2014 to 4.5 lakh in 683 shelters currently.
