The top 10 Indian cities at highest risk of severe earthquakes are: Guwahati, Srinagar, Delhi, Jamnagar, Patna, Meerut, Jammu, Amritsar, Jalandhar, and Dehradun. These cities fall within Zones IV and V, categorized as severe to very severe intensity zones. With 56% of India's land prone to moderate-severe earthquakes and 82% of the population living in these areas, earthquake resilience has become a pressing national concern.
