Dhanlaxmi Bank Board Approves ₹150 Crore Basel III Tier-II Bond Issuance Post-EGM Nod

Dhanlaxmi Bank’s Board of Directors on March 19, 2025, approved the issuance of unsecured, Basel III-compliant Tier-II non-convertible debentures (NCDs) worth up to ₹150 crore. This follows shareholder authorization secured during the Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM) on March 18, 2025, permitting the Board to raise up to ₹300 crore via NCDs within a year. The funds will bolster the Bank’s capital base to meet regulatory requirements and support asset growth. The bonds, to be issued on a private placement basis, align with RBI guidelines and SEBI’s listing norms. The Bank recently raised ₹297.54 crore through a rights issue.
