Earthloom - Threads of Heritage: A fashionable tribute to India's textile legacy

The Aalekh Foundation and Confederation of Indian Textile Industry (CITI) successfully presented "Earthloom - The Threads of Heritage" on February 17, 2025, at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi. The event showcased India's finest sustainable textiles reimagined for the global stage. Featuring designers Rosy Ahluwalia, Shilpi Gupta, Daniel Syiem, and Sanjukta Dutta, the multi-designer fashion show blended high-end fashion with rich cultural tapestry. The event celebrated India's heritage weaves, highlighting stories spun over centuries and passed down through generations of skilled artisans. Shri Pabitra Margherita, Hon'ble Minister of State for Textiles, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest.
