Education Fast Lane: Himachal's Radical B.Ed Plan Promises to Turbocharge Teacher Training

Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu launched a path-breaking program to launch B.Ed courses directly after Class 12. The decision will organize teacher education and ready students for impending challenges. The state government is also launching revolutionary courses in Artificial Intelligence and Data Storage to empower youth with future-proof skills. Moreover, Rajiv Gandhi Day Boarding Schools will be set up in each Assembly constituency with a focus on well-rounded education. The CM also highlighted the government's priority towards women empowerment and announced a Rs 5 lakh grant for meritorious students at St. Bede's College. These reforms are part of a wider initiative to enhance the quality of Himachal's education and address its recent fall to 21st position at the national level.
