Exicom in Customs Crosshairs: ₹144.9 Crore Duty Recovery Demand Raises Eyebrows

The Show Cause Notice (SCN), dated September 30, 2025, alleges the company mis-declared imports classified as static converters for telecom under a Basic Customs Duty exemption, whereas the goods were allegedly meant for electric vehicle chargers, which do not qualify for this exemption.
