Frontier State to Forefront: VP Dhankhar Lauds 'Pride of India' at Nyokum Yullo

Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar was present at the inaugural Joint Mega Nyokum Yullo festival in Boasimla, Arunachal Pradesh today. He hailed the state's tribes as the "pride of India" and underscored the importance of festivals in maintaining cultural heritage. Dhankhar pointed to India's fast-paced development, terming it the world's fastest-growing nation. He also pointed out Arunachal Pradesh's enormous hydropower potential of 50,000 MW. Union Minister Kiren Rijiju has announced the impending completion of the Trans-Arunachal Highway and sanction of the Rs 42,000-crore Frontier Highway project. Vice President congratulated Kabak Yano, the first Nyishi woman to reach the top of Mount Everest.
