Godfrey Phillips fortifies domestic supply with Polisetty deal.

Godfrey Phillips India Ltd has signed a nine-year contract manufacturing agreement with Polisetty Somasundaram Tobacco Products (India) Pvt. Ltd to boost production capacity and provide uninterrupted supply to Godfrey Phillips' domestic market.  

The company has made the disclosure to the BSE and NSE, stating that the agreement was signed on May 27, 2026. This partnership is expected to help improve the efficiency of the operation, with Polisetty establishing its facilities and securing the required licenses in 12 months.
