Gold Prices Retreat from Record Highs: A Brief Respite for Buyers

Gold prices in India experienced a slight dip on February 24, 2025, offering a momentary breather for potential buyers. The price of 24-carat gold decreased by Rs 10, settling at Rs 87,760 per 10 grams. Similarly, silver saw a modest decline of Rs 100, now priced at Rs 1,03,300 per kg. This minor correction comes after gold hit an all-time high of Rs 88,050 per 10 grams on February 21, driven by global economic uncertainties and safe-haven demand. Despite the small pullback, experts anticipate the bullish trend to continue, citing ongoing geopolitical tensions and fluctuating US dollar strength as key factors influencing precious metal prices.
