Haldiram's Secures Strategic Investments from Alpha Wave Global and IHC to Drive Global Expansion

Haldiram's, the well-known Indian sweets and snacks brand, has unveiled fresh strategic investments from Alpha Wave Global and International Holding Company (IHC) in its ongoing round of equity. This follows closely on the heels of Singaporean Temasek's acquisition of a 9% stake in the business recently. These combined investments total a 15% promoter dilution, which positions Haldiram's for high-growth in India and global markets.

Alpha Wave Global Investment: The UAE-headquartered fund, which has invested in global giants such as SpaceX and Uber, acquired a 6% stake in Haldiram's for ₹5,600 crore ($675 million). This is Alpha Wave's foray into India's growing ethnic snacks market.
IHC Joins the Round: Abu Dhabi-headquartered IHC also invested in Alpha Wave to finance Haldiram's growth plans.
