Hyderabad's Water Supply Gets Major Boost: 3 New Reservoirs Inaugurated in Rajendranagar

Hyderabad residents can expect improved water access as three new reservoirs were inaugurated in Rajendranagar assembly constituency on Thursday. The facilities, opened by Assembly Speaker Gaddam Prasad Kumar and IT & Industries Minister Sridhar Babu, include reservoirs in Manikonda, Narsingi, and Manchirevula municipalities. With capacities ranging from 2 to 5 million liters, these reservoirs aim to increase drinking water supply up to the Outer Ring Road (ORR) and serve newly developed colonies. Additionally, three pressure filters totaling 11 MLDs were installed at Himayatsagar, Osmansagar, and Budvel to meet summer demand.
