Notably, this system is expected to work primarily on modern mobile networks due to technical constraints and will not be immediately available on 2G.

Telecom operators are mandated to establish a Calling Name (CNAM) database mapping phone numbers to caller names validated through Know Your Customer (KYC) data during SIM registration.
