India’s government successfully conducted a Rs 30,000 crore switch auction, issuing new long-term bonds while buying back shorter-tenor securities. The Reserve Bank of India confirmed that Rs 213.14 billion worth of securities were issued and Rs 210.98 billion bought back, helping spread redemption liabilities and reduce rollover risks.
