Celebration Shifted To PM’s Residence Amid Historic Triumph  

India’s women’s cricket team, led by Harmanpreet Kaur, scripted history by clinching their maiden ICC Women’s ODI World Cup title with a commanding 52-run win over South Africa on November 2, 2025. Despite the magnitude of the victory, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has decided not to organize a public victory parade, unlike the men’s team’s Marine Drive celebration in 2024.
